Asphalt Overly, also known as resurfacing, is a process where damaged asphalt is fixed by covering the broken area with a fresh layer of asphalt.
Before laying down a new layer of asphalt, the old, existing asphalt must be shaved down until it is even and suitable for the overlay. Typically, problem areas in existing pavement are patched up or remove. After shaving down and cleaning the old pavement, an adhesive is applied in preparation for the new asphalt. This is a great option for repairing cracked or otherwise damaged asphalt. Asphalt Overlay is considerably more affordable than a brand new installation, and it takes a lot less time. |
